My name is Mrs. Cobb. I am your Bell County Public Health District Outreach Educator and would like to familiarize you with the many opportunities the Health District can offer our community. Each year The Bell County Public Health District works toward ensuring that every individual receives timely, affordable immunizations, and proper family planning. BCPHD is constantly involved in communities across our district. Emphasizing the importance of immunizations, family planning and often hosts shot clinics for community organizations. In order to fit the needs of a growing community, we are hard at work trying to prepare for another fiscal year. Please take advantage of my position as Outreach Educator. My duties include:

Assessing individual and community needs for health education
Planing effective health education strategies, interventions and programs
Implementing health education strategies, interventions, and programs
Conducting evaluations and research related to health education
Administering health education strategies, interventions and programs
Serving as a health education resource
Communicating and advocating for health and health education

I would like to share with you information on the many health topics related to immunizations, family planning and a healthy lifestyle. This information will consist of everything your students, clients and community groups will need in the upcoming school year along with health measures. I will send out monthly public health service announcements in conjunction with Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) Program. The clinics are a first come, first serve basis. Staying up to date on our health is a lifestyle most people do not think about but it is so important. Help me stress this importance by sharing information with our community!
